A downloadable game for Windows

Example level created using, VERSE - a research tool for studying human behaviour in virtual environments: https://figshare.com/s/c97c305736c9a3d1c8b9

This example displays the interactable object system, where a player (or computer controlled AIs) can interact with objects in various ways. Try hitting the tree to dislodge the fruit, or destroying the blue spheres. Do you need an additional object to complete the tasks? Try watching the white humanoids around you.

Controls: move using arrow keys, rotate camera with the A+D keys, sprint by holding Shift, jump using the Spacebar, interact with an object by approaching it and using the ? key, drop a held object with the [ or ] key.

This project showcases experience using Unity's terrain tool, environment creation, development of simple models, C# coding, including AI behaviour and a complex interactable objects system in which objects can be modified by interacting with other objects, and in which different interactables respond in different ways to different held objects through the use of Unity's inheritance system.

The third person controller and fly mode asset from the asset store (https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/systems/3rd-person-controller-fl...) was used for the humanoid models and 3rd person movement. Standard Unity assets were used for the terrain, trees and ground texture. Everything else was developed, designed and coded by myself.
